OTHER PROJECTS

Marie Hylds projekt:
"NOTIFICATION FREE ZONE" It’s a rarity that we as creatures are being fully present - in our bodily system and in interactions with others. This feeling of closeness with other human beings is in a 75 year long study of human happiness proven to be one of the most important factors for health and flourishing in the human life.

The project search to visit the feeling of loneliness and skin thirst - set up against the healing effects of closeness and total prescense in this project.

Because human beings are going to be the very core if this project,"

"I have a background in trend forecasting, design and visual communication. For 9 years I’ve been working with different brands such as Vero Moda, Pieces Accessories, Netflix, Pieces shoes, Outfitters Nation, MC EINAR, Asos, Zalando.
I have studied design forecasting and communication in-depth, at my university. My MA allowed me to explore how the modern individual relates to clothing (as a form of expression) under the powerful influence of globalizing- technological- homogenized- and dictating trends. I studied how the fundamental need to express oneself authentically (not dictated) has arisen from this. It became partly a psychological and sociological study of the modern individual, and of  personal interest to understand how technology has affected the modern individual, in different situations, including the way we relate to each other. This has resulted in personal projects, including one with photographer Marie Hyld, where we explored connection and intimacy, meeting a stranger. I move in between the academic, artistic and intuitative fields, which allows me to work in many different ways, which I love".
