TREND FORECASTING
"I have a professional background in trend forecasting, design and visual communication. Since 2007, I’ve been working with different brands such as Netflix, Miso Film, Vero Moda, Very, Pieces Accessories, Pieces Shoes, Outfitters Nation, MC EINAR and I have studied trend (design) forecasting and communication in-depth, at university, AAU, CPH. My MA allowed me to explore how the modern individual relates to clothing (as a form of expression) under the powerful influence of globalizing- technological- homogenized- and dictating trends. I studied how the fundamental need to express oneself authentically (not dictated) has arisen from this. It became partly a psychological and sociological study of the modern individual, and of personal interest to understand how technology has affected the modern individual. But also how it's possible to use forecasting as a positive input strategically. During my years working in trend research, I visited London frequently in order to develop my own street style portal. Using this as a platform, research reference and resource, I made trend reports for several brands and dived deeper into expressions and trend research. All images are shot by myself.
